As part of the completion requirements for the Amrita Tribal Health Worker Course, a group of tribal girls from Attappady, currently undergoing training at Swami Vivekananda Hospital, Agali, Palakkad, conducted a field visit to Kovimedu Tribal Hamlet on June 26, 2025. During this visit, the trainee health workers performed health assessments for senior citizens in the community, including measurements of blood pressure, body temperature, weight, blood oxygen saturation, and blood sugar levels.

This practical exposure provided the trainees with valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the health and well-being of the residents of Kovimedu Tribal Hamlet.
