Girls from Attappady Successfully Complete Tribal Health Worker Training

Girls from the Agali and Sholayur panchayats in the Attappady region of Palakkad district successfully completed a eight-month Health Worker Training Program at Swami Vivekananda Mission Hospital, Attappady, Palakkad.

As part of their eight-month curriculum, participants received comprehensive pre-nursing training and practical instruction in the use of digital thermometers, glucometers, and blood pressure monitoring equipment at the Amrita Tribal Center in Agali, Palakkad. Additionally, they underwent vocational training in tailoring and word processing (Windows). Certificates were conferred upon all trainees who successfully completed the program. With the certificates awarded by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, the trainees are now eligible to apply for employment in government hospitals.
