World Meditation Day at Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital

For the second year running, the United Nations has honored meditation as a timeless practice fostering well-being, mental health, unity, and compassion amid global challenges. In celebration of World Meditation Day on December 21, 2025, Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital in Kalpetta, Wayanad, organized a special two-hour session from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, led by renowned physician Dr. Ageesh MBBS, MD.

The event drew staff members and patients together in a serene gathering that emphasized meditation’s role in healing and community building. Participants engaged in guided practices, experiencing firsthand the benefits of this ancient tradition in promoting inner peace and resilience.

Dr. Ageesh, who spearheaded the session, shared, “In today’s fast-paced world, meditation offers a powerful tool for mental and emotional health. We’re grateful to the United Nations for spotlighting this practice and proud to bring it to our hospital community.”

Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital continues its commitment to holistic care, integrating such initiatives to support patients’ overall well-being. This marks the second annual observance of World Meditation Day at the facility, building on last year’s successful event.
