Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital Hosts “Amrita Smitham” Mega Dental Camp

The Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital Wayanad hosted the “Amrita Smitham” Mega Dental Camp from April 5 to 7, delivering free, high-quality dental care to local and tribal communities.
Organised by Amrita Dental College, Kochi as part of its outreach programme, the three-day camp saw a dedicated team of 32 doctors and technicians offering services through the Amrita Mobile Dental Clinic. Attendees received X-rays, dental check-ups, artificial tooth fittings, and other essential treatments — all entirely free of charge.
The camp was inaugurated by Bri. Deekshitamrita Chaithanya, from Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Wayanad. Dr. Sanjeev led the team and shared insights on the importance of accessible oral healthcare.
“Reaching out to those who lack access to dental facilities is at the heart of our mission,” said a spokesperson from the hospital. “Every smile restored here reflects the compassion that drives our work.”
Continuing its commitment to community wellbeing, Amrita Dental College organises similar camps annually — bringing expert medical care to the doorstep of those who need it most.
