Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital Conducts Free Medical Camp for Madamkunnu Colony Residents

Residents of the Madamkunnu colony in Ezhanchira village, Muttil panchayat, received essential healthcare services today during a free medical outreach camp organized by Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital, Kalpetta on January 6, 2026.
The initiative was led by Dr. Ageesh MD, who spearheaded a dedicated medical team to bring accessible healthcare directly to the rural community. The camp focused on general health check-ups, diagnosis, and providing immediate medical advice to families in the area.
Supporting Dr. Ageesh in the successful execution of the camp were Nurse Sheela, Pharmacist Jisha, and Lab Technician Amitha. Their combined efforts ensured that attendees received comprehensive care, ranging from vital sign monitoring to the dispensing of necessary prescriptions.
A total of 41 patients from the colony benefited from the services provided. In addition to medical consultations, all prescribed medicines were distributed to the patients free of cost, ensuring that financial constraints did not hinder access to necessary treatment.
This outreach program underscores Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital’s ongoing commitment to serving vulnerable populations in Wayanad and ensuring equitable access to healthcare for rural communities.
