In preparation for International Yoga Day 2025, certified trainers from the Department of Swasthavritta at the Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kollam, Kerala conducted yoga sessions on June 10 for students across schools in the Alappad and Kulasekharapuram Panchayats. The classes were conducted by Dr Meera S., Dr Archana S., Dr Malavika Das, Dr Uthara P., Dr. Tony Jacob, Dr Debarun Mondal and Dr Sowmiya Veerash.

International Yoga Day will be observed on June 21, 2025 at Amritapuri Ashram, in the esteemed presence of Her Holiness Sri Mātā Amritānandamayī Devi. The event will see participation from officials of the CRPF and Police, students from local schools and members of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus.
