Chooralmala, located in the Meppady Panchayat of Wayanad district, serves as the burial site for victims of the landslide—a natural calamity that impacted the valley villages of Meppady.

On Sunday, 8th June 2025, a cleanup drive was organized at the site under the leadership of Swami Vedamritanandapuri of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Meppady, and Bri. Deekshitamrita Chaitanya of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Mananthavady.
