Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan

PM-JANMAN (Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan) is a flagship 15-day initiative organised by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, dedicated to the welfare and holistic development of tribal communities, particularly the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), across the Indian Union.

From June 15 to June 30, 2025, NGOs supported by the Ministry’s grant-in-aid programs are conducting a series of educational classes, seminars, and community camps aimed at enhancing the socio-economic conditions of Adivasi communities. These activities are part of the broader PM-JANMAN scheme, which focuses on interventions in critical areas such as housing, healthcare, education, nutrition, and sustainable livelihoods, in collaboration with state governments and tribal communities.

The program was formally inaugurated by Dr. Sanjeev Vasudevan, MBBS, MD, Medical Officer at AKCH Kalpetta on June 14, 2025. Dr. Ageesh, MBBS, MD, Program Officer, provided an overview of the planned activities and detailed the schedule for the fortnight-long initiative.

This concerted effort underscores the government’s commitment to mainstreaming tribal communities and ensuring their access to essential services and opportunities for sustainable development.
