The 79th Independence Day celebrations of Mata Amritanandamayi Math were held at Amritapuri on Friday, 15th August 2025. The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted at 7:30 AM by Swami Turiyamritananda Puri. The event featured a parade with the participation of CRPF and Kerala Police officers.

In his address, Swamiji highlighted the importance of patriotism and national integration, emphasizing the need for every citizen to contribute to the unity and progress of the nation. The CRPF Commandant, in his remarks, underscored the urgent need for unity among the people and spoke about the role of the armed forces in maintaining law and order, as well as ensuring the safety and protection of citizens.
