Third Batch of Tribal Health Worker Course Launched

With the objective to provide a vocational foundation and financial stability to all girls from the tribal hamlets with an educational background, the 3rd batch of Amrita Health Worker Course has been launched.

On completion of the course, they will be able to provide quality primary medicare, offer tablet based tuition classes to school dropouts, first aid, nutritional support and care to pregnant women and new borns. They would also be able to provide medicare to the elderly.
The skills acquired from the course have enabled the trainees from the previous two batches to gain salaried employment in medical institutions – both Ayurvedic and Allopathic. The trainees will be provided a monthly stipend for the entire duration of the course.
