Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on 2nd of October with great fervour at the Tribal Hostel at Parippally, Kollam, Kerala. Gandhiji’s contribution towards India’s Independence was elucidated. Amma’s birthday was also celebrated alongside. Apart from the sumptuous birthday feast, the many guests that included westerners, enjoyed the cultural performances by the children.
