Concerted efforts are made by the Center to develop job skills among the youth in the region sufficient to make them employable. As part of these efforts, Amrita Tribal Center has been offering specilised skill courses and support the placement process to enable them to be employed in various institutions across Kerala.

The programmes include

1. Entreneurship Development Programme
2. Electrician programme
3. Computer Hardware maintenance course
4. Industrial Promotion Program
5. Bamboo product manufacturing
6. Salt product packaging
7. Tribal Health worker programme
8. Training in the production, collection and sale of agricultural products
9. Public Service Examination (PSC) Training
10. Training in professional flower arrangement

The Entreneurship Development Programme and Industrial Promotion Programme are conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Industries, Central Government of India. It is designed and delivered to meet the standards laid for the programme Department of Micro Small Mediaum Enterprises under the Ministry of Industries.

All attendees are offered the oppurtunity to get employed in organisations across the state through the Amrita Tribal Center employment programme. Attendees who have accepted the offers have been successfully placed in oranisations such as State Government Hospitals, Block Panchayat Health Departments, Amrita School of Ayurveda,  Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences Kochi, Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetam Coimbatore, Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital Kalpetta, Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital Kollam, etc.
