Self Defense and Yoga Course for Girls
Mrs.Beena, Police officer, Agali Police Station, conducted an awareness class on selfdefense and Vaayana on December 12, 2017. She is well known as the winning contestant in the reality show – “Ningalkum aakam Kodieswaran.” Mr Sudhir, Yoga acharya, took yoga classes on December 19th.
Self Employment Workshop at Amrita University

Tribal girls selected from the remote Hamlets of Attappady (Palakkad District) were sent to Swami Vivekananda Hospital- Agali as Healthcare Worker trainees. Health Worker Trainees visit Remote Tribal Hamlet
Our Health Worker Trainees visited Cheerakadavu Tribal hamlet on 31 Aug 2017 and supported the tribals of the remote hamlet. Nutritional and health products were supplied to mothers with new borns. Ooru moopan, Pudur panachayat member and Government Health assitant and Team leader accompanied the trainees.
Fourth Batch of Health Worker Training Launched
Amrita Tribal Centre Agali launched the fourth batch of Health Worker Training to the Tribal girls of Attappady. Selection test were conducted by Dr Arun Raj, on 27th May 2017 at the Amrita Tribal Centre office at Kovilmedu.
Tribal Health Worker Training Certificates Distributed at Agali
Trainees were awarded certificates by Sri.VPS. Menon, President, Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Trust, at Swami Vivekananda Hospital Agali, in the presence of Dr Narayan of Swami Vivekananda Hospital. Trainees and the hospital staff had lunch together after the ceremony.
Medical Camp at Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital, Kalpeta
Trainees offered their services at medical camp conducted by Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital, Kalpeta. Dr Sajeevan & Dr Ajith conducted classes for the health workers, inspiring them to take up their work with more enthusiasm.
