International Yoga Day 2018 Celebrations
International Yoga Day was celebrated with immense joy on 21st June 2018. Yoga teachers and practitioners from across India and different parts of the world led and took part in the sessions.
Tekkuvatta Tribal Hamlet Visit
Tribal health worker trainees visited Tekkuvatta tribal hamlet. Tekkuvatta is an interior forest hamlet, with no pubic transport services. Ooru moopen, Sholayur panchayat tribal member and Government Health Assistant attended the meeting, children were provided with books and stationary, food and tea.

The valedictory session of theHealth workers Course was conducted on 3rd March 2018 at Swami Vivekananda Hospital Agali. 10 of thetribal girls from Attappady had been undergoing Amrita Health workers Course in Swami Vivekananda Hospital Agali. Self Defense and Yoga Course for Girls
Mrs.Beena, Police officer, Agali Police Station, conducted an awareness class on selfdefense and Vaayana on December 12, 2017. She is well known as the winning contestant in the reality show – “Ningalkum aakam Kodieswaran.” Mr Sudhir, Yoga acharya, took yoga classes on December 19th.
Self Employment Workshop at Amrita University

Tribal girls selected from the remote Hamlets of Attappady (Palakkad District) were sent to Swami Vivekananda Hospital- Agali as Healthcare Worker trainees. Our Health Worker Trainees visited Cheerakadavu Tribal hamlet on 31 Aug 2017 and supported the tribals of the remote hamlet. Nutritional and health products were supplied to mothers with new borns. Ooru moopan, Pudur panachayat member and Government Health assitant and Team leader accompanied the trainees.
