The batch of 2019, which is now the sixth, of Tribal Health Worker Training of Attappady has commenced.

Computer, tailoring and awareness courses were conducted at Kovilmedu, Amrita Tribal Center, Attappady in the months of April and May 2019

Tribal trainees visited Agali in Attappady on June 27 to examine the weight, blood pressure, pulse and sugar level of the elderly in the village.

International yoga day was celebrated on 21st June 2019 with classes conducted by trainer Ms. Vanita at Amrita Tribal Center, Attappady, Palakkad.

Amrita Tribal Health Worker training course of 2018-19 conducted at Amrita Hospital wayanad has concluded on 21 April 2019 with certificate distribution and feast.

Vishu new year celebrated with kai neettom and Thai neettom (distribution of saplings) for the prosperous life and ecology. Tribal girls, health workers and staff were provided with saplings by Dr Sanjiv Vasudevan at Amrita Hospital Wayanad.

Tribal health Worker Trainees visited vattulakki, Kaladi and Puthur Tribal hamlets in the last week of March. Trainees came in sarees the centre issued to them. In the valedictory session the staff and Trainees had a feast together and shared gifts. Dr. Narayan of Swami Vivekananda hospital. The Hospital manager and administrator were also present.

Amrita Tribal Health Worker Trainees from Amrita Hospital went on study tour to Kannur

A yoga training program for students was conducted at Thanur on Children’s day to help them cope with stress. Mr.Vineesh, a yoga teacher and a propagator of yoga has provided insightful findings and knowledge about yoga to the students.This training program was held between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The fifth batch of tribal health workers started their training at Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Hospital Agali, Attappady on Oct 2, 2018.
