35 children from different islands received free treatment at the medical camp organized by Amrita Hospital, Kochi at Amrita Health Center, Port Blair on Sunday, March 10, primarily for children with heart diseases in the Andaman Islands community. The camp was inaugurated by Chief Secretary Keshav Chandra IAS. Director of Health, Suja Antony, Swami Sudhananda – Chinmaya Ashram, Swami Omkaratmananda – Ramakrishna Math, Dr. Krishna Kumar Brijesh – Amrita Hospital and Brahmachari Durga Prasad spoke as guests at the camp. Of the 38 children, 19 will receive free treatment at Amrita Hospital Kochi. The camp was organized in collaboration with Cochin Shipyard. Srikant Veerappan, DGM, attended the inauguration.
