Medical students from the USA, Ms. Sreekutty & Divya Ramachandran offered classes on De-Addiction at Model Residential School, Kambalakkadu and Amrita Kripa Charitable Hospital, Kalpetta in Dec 2016. They provided an extensive workshop for health workers at the hospital on assessment, treatment planning, counselling, individual and family counselling and progress monitoring.

The students at the school where encouraged to become the messengers of the  society on the adverse effects of use alcohol.
