On 11th Sept 2016, newly selected trainees for the Tribal Health Worker Program visited Amritapuri. They are the third batch of Health Workers to be selected under the Government aided program for the emancipation of the tribal populace of Attappady. The second batch who are presently undergoing training at Amrita Ayurveda Medical College Vallikavu also joined the newly selected trainees to receive the blessings of Amma.
