Amrita Tribal Center organised a visit to forest hamlets in the Anakkatty – State Border, Sholayur Panchayath and the interior forest of Siruvani catchment area on April 1^st 2016. Fifteen tribal youth comprising Tribal Health Workers & EDP Trainees and Computer students from Agali and Pudur Panchayath made the trip to the hamlets. The students enquired about the health conditions and offered the tribes in these remote hamlets with food and clothing. They hired a 4-wheel drive jeep for the travel into the deep forest and trekked the remaining distance to the hamlets.
