As per the directive of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, freedom fighters, social reformers and award winners belonging to the tribal community were felicitated. As part of the felicitation of reformers, on 21st November 2024, the residence of traditional tribal physician Kelu Vaidyan from Kattikulam, Wayanad, was visited and he was felicitated. Later, on the same day, the ancient residence of Palliyara Raman (reformist farmer) from Kambalakad was also visited and felicitated.
