Preventive Public Healthcare Campaign – Communicable Diseases
Amrita Tribal Health Workers along with Balakrishnan Amritapuri and Jayaprakash Watalaki conducted awareness sessions at the Attappadi Co-operative Farming Society for the working members of the Society. These sessions were conducted as part of the campaign to educate farm workers and the general tribal populace on preventive healthcare. The objective of these sessions were the prevention of communicable diseases that commonly occur in farms in the tribal region during monsoon. The sessions that also included topics on health and hygiene were conducted on 20th July 2024. Sanitary pads were distributed at the end of the session.
