On Saturday June 22nd 2024, Mrs. Shobha took a sickle cell disease awareness session at Cheyambam Chethalayam tribal colony in Wayanad district. The colony also known as Kattu-Nayakkar colony is located deep in the Wayanad forest where wild animals, mostly wild elephants roam free.

Health workers Sita Cheeyambam and Shreya Chethalayam also participated.

Sanitary Pads were distributed to the women and bags and books to children for free.
